We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery in construction. This role requires experience with cranes, excavators, and other heavy equipment, as well as a strong understanding of safety procedures and job site coordination. The Equipment Operator will work closely with other crew members to ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and according to specifications.
Duties
Operate cranes, excavators, and other heavy machinery to perform construction and site work.
Safely maneuver equipment in tight or challenging environments.
Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks before and after use.
Load, unload, and transport materials as required on the job site.
Follow all safety regulations and company procedures while operating machinery.
Assist with site preparation, grading, trenching, and material handling tasks.
Communicate effectively with team members, spotters, and supervisors.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Support other job site duties as needed.
Experience
Proven experience operating cranes, excavators, and other heavy equipment.
Valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) required.
Strong knowledge of heavy machinery operation and safety standards.
Ability to read and interpret basic site plans and instructions.
Experience working in construction or similar environments preferred.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
